Rent Gazette is a property management tool that helps landlords track utility bills, register rent, and share monthly statements with tenants. The service is operated by Rent Gazette (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

We do not run advertising. We do not sell data. We do not use your data to train machine learning models.

Analytics cookies are only loaded after you give explicit consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser’s local storage for app.rentgazette.com.
We use a small number of infrastructure providers. Each one processes data only to the extent needed to run the service:
No other third parties receive your data.
If you enter a tenant’s name, email address, or phone number into Rent Gazette, you are providing us with personal data about a third party. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so — for example, because managing the tenancy requires it. We process that data only on your behalf and only to provide the service.
Tenants who receive a shared statement link do not need to create an account. The link gives read-only access to the statement you chose to share; no additional data is collected from them.
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data — properties, tenants, bills, uploaded files — is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Uploaded files are stored in a private bucket accessible only to your account. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
No security measure is perfect. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it to hello@rentgazette.com.
If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, if the changes affect how we use your data, notify you by email. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
